Chef Bruce Brown

Chef-Bruce-Brown

A Hearty “Welcome Back!” to Chef Bruce Brown ( Bruce’s Fabulous Foods, Marion, NC. & a regular on WLOS/Asheville’s Channel-13 Carolina Cooking Segments). Chef Bruce and his lovely wife have made the trip from Marion for the last three years and we are looking forward to seeing him at this year’s “Chilly/Chili – Cook-Off as well. We can always count on a big smile, a hearty laugh, and (no doubt) a corny joke or two from this loyal friend to both the G.R.C.A. and our annual fundraising efforts. His appearance on behalf of one of our favorite annual events is truly appreciated!

Chef Jennifer Salkewicz

No stranger to Henderson/Polk county devotees of fine dining and culinary magic – Chef Jennifer brings (quite literally) a “world” of farm-to-table experience to our region. An Asheville-Buncombe-Tech. alumnus, this young chef sought out a rising star in California’s Napa Valley, Chef Thomas Keller (The French Laundry). Working under his tutelage, Jennifer brings Keller’s philosophy of “only the freshest and finest” to grace the dining rooms of The Giardini Trattoria, and The 3rd Ave Bistro. Lucky “campers” in our community are now enjoying her culinary talents!
